Detailed Itinerary for 4 days gorilla trekking and lake Bunyonyi tour.

Day 1: Kampala – Bwindi National Park.

After breakfast, meet up with your guide who will brief you about the tour, thereafter, transfer to south-western Uganda via Masaka – Mbarara highway with en-route stop at the Uganda equator for amazing photographs. Lunch in Mbarara town, after through the verdant landforms trail to the park and enjoy your dinner and overnight at Mahogany springs / lake Kitandara camp / Buhoma camp. Meal plan: F/B

Day 2: Mountain Gorilla Trekking Experience.

Early breakfast, transfer to the park headquarters for the briefing about the primates and then follow the tracks to search for the humble giants. You will go with packed lunch because it’s hard to determine how long it will take you to meet these human cousins. However, the time ranges between 1-8 hours depending on the previous movement of the giant primates. After the experience return to park offices to be awarded with the gorilla trekking certificate and after return to lodge to relax after spend evening for community walk, return to lodge for dinner and overnight, Meal plan: F/B

Day 3: Bwindi – Lake Bunyonyi

Morning cup of tea and then board the safari vehicle and transfer to Lake Bunyonyi via the terrain land forms scenic sightseeing. After noon enjoy the boat cruise along the Lake Bunyonyi visiting different dotted beautiful islands while spotting various bird-life species. Return to Bunyonyi resort for dinner and overnight at Rock resort hotel or bunyonyi safari lodge.

Day 4: Lake Bunyonyi – Kampala.

Have breakfast, embark the safari vehicle and drive back to Entebbe with your lunch en-route, then after drive to airport for your return flight back home with memories of this 4 days Gorilla trekking Bwindi safari and Lake Bunyonyi tour.
